My Chick Bad! Michelle Obama @ White House Correspondents Dinner

Radicals have been making disrespectful comparisons of First Lady Michelle Obama to a chimpanzee. Another example of how some are not ready to embrace the ascension of the Obamas. They can suck it because last night at the White House Correspondents Dinner..Michelle was absolutely gorgeous! The event which takes place annualy was held at the Washington Hilton Hotel in D.C. The star-studded event included a hilarious speech by the President and a follow up from Jay Leno. Some big names in attendance included Alec Baldwin, Larry King, Alicia Keys, Tracy Morgan, Jessica Simpson, Michael Douglas, an even GOP front man Michael Steele. Steele was seated way in the back!

Mo' Nique and her hairy ass legs win Golden Globe......Baby!

Monique took home the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Supporting Role-Drama for her role in the film "Precious." She delivered a great acceptance speech which included her over the top "Baby!" that she says every minute on her late night show "The Mo'Nique Show" which airs on BET. Mo'Nique concluded her speech by dedicating the award to "Those who have ever been touched" and a "Thank You, Baby!"

Drew Barrymore seemed to be moved by Mo's speech as she gave her a shout out during her rambling and often scatter-brained speech.

Today, Mo is making headlines for showing off her hairy legs on the red carpet prior to the beginning of the show-Gross. Other winners included Sandra Bullock who beat out "Precious" lead actress Gabourey Sidibe in a similarly moving film "The Blind Side" for Best Actress and Meryl Streep-who is possibly the most humble person after winning so many Oscars and Golden Globes. Robert Downey, Jr. and Jeff Bridges also took home awards along with the cast of "Glee" and the films "Avatar" and "Up." Next Stop the Oscars on March 7.

How fitting that John McCain would lose his bid for the Presidency to the first African-American to win the office. It's Karma. In 1983, when the bill was introduced to create a federal holiday observing Martin Luther King, Republican Senators Jesse Helms (NC) and John McCain (AZ) led the opposition against it's creation. Along with support from Republican President Ronald Reagan, the senators cited that it would be too expensive to pay federal employees for an additional holiday. Reagan threatened to veto the bill but eventually signed it into law later in 1983. The holiday was first celebrated in 1986 but......

There's more...McCains state of Arizona did not recognize the holiday after Democratic governor Bruce Babbit left office and Republican Governor Evan Mecham rescinded the state's observation of the holiday. To add more insult to King's legacy, Utah observed the holiday under the name "Human Rights Day" until the year 2000 when Gov. Mike Leavitt officially changed the name of the Holiday to "Marting Luther King, Jr. Day". In Virginia the holiday was known as "Lee-Jackson-King Day." The ridiculous holiday would celebrate the lives of King along with Confederate Army Generals Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson and Robert E. Lee. WTF??? Virginia also did not celebrate it's first King Day until 2000.

Staggering fact: It was not until the year 2000 that all 50 states recognized the Martin Luther King Holiday.

It's Bow Wow Baaaabbyyyy! Bow Wow signs with Cash Money!

The artist formerly known as Lil' Bow Wow has signed with Cash Money Records in an effort to return to prominence. Bow Wow's last album "New Jack City II" went largely unnoticed and was followed by strange tweets from Bow Wow on twitter about his life. I won't go any further into that one. For quite some time, Bow Wow has been working to distance himself from being a child star into a bonafide rapper. He has had struggles transtitioning as his last album was his first to feature a parental advisory label and did not find touch with his fanbase.



Bow Wow recently fired his entire management team as he attempts to move in a new direction. He recently released a mixtape called "Negative Energy" which is notable for not being hosted by DJ Drama. DJ Drama declined to be apart of Bow Wow's mixtape which Bow Wow percieved as a diss. DJ Drama is famous for his "Gangsta Grillz" mixtape series as well as three "Gangsta Grillz" albums. Drama recently released mixtapes with Memphis rapper Yo Gotti ("5 star chick") and New York staple Cam'ron.



Bow Wow made more waves via twitter when he sent messages about driving "tipsy." Those tweets have since been removed. It's a no-brainer to expect a song from Bow Wow, Weezy, and Drake! LOL..Stay tuned!

Rihanna & LeToya Luckett's Love Triangle!

So...all the media is reporting about Rihanna's new boo Matt Kemp of the LA Dodgers. He has already taken jabs at Chris Brown and the papparazzi has gotten many pictures of the new couple. Too bad for LeToya Luckett who reportedly didn't know that her and Matt were no longer an item.

Kemp was reported to be dating LeToya for over 6 months now. During that time he has appeared in LeToya's "She Aint Got" video. The song was Lucketts second single and was penned by Chris Brown. How ironic? Luckett also performed the national anthem at a LA Dodgers baseball game shortly after the release of her latest album "Lady Love."

Just over a week ago, the media began buzzing about Rihanna getting close to someone while out of the country. Rihanna has found it hard to find any privacy since the gigantic scandal involving her and Chris Brown. A little over a week ago both Luckett and Rihanna attended a birthday party for singers Tank and Tyrese. Tank produced Luckett's hit "Regret" and is starring alongside her in the film "The Preacher's Kid" which hits theaters January 29th. Luckett and Rihanna were not photographed together @ this event but the picture above was taken when the two were "on better terms." A statement released says that Kemp and Rihanna are just friends but the papparazzi has snapped them getting much closer than friends usually do.

Mystikal released from Jail after serving 6 year sentence.

New Orleans rapper Mystikal called into a New Orleans radio station to reconnect with fans just hours after being released from prison. Mystikal served 6 years for sexual battery and extortion. In 2004, Mystikal was convicted on charges after a videotape of the crime was found at his home. The media didn't pay much attention to the rapper's troubles as R. Kelly's sex scandal and videotape were major news stories around the same time.

The 39 year-old rapper, whose real name is Micheal Tyler, is best known for his 2000 hit "Shake Ya Ass." The single and its follow-up "Danger (Been So Long)," the breakthrough debut for singer Nivea, propelled Mystikal's 2000 album "Lets Get Ready" to hit #1 on the Billboard 2000 and sell over 2 million copies in the United States. He followed up with the gold album "Tarantual" in 2002, his last album to date. Mystikal also boasts two albums released by No Limit Records during their commercial peak which landed @#5 and #3 on the Billboard 200.

Mystikal promoted positivity during his first post-prison interview and also talked of his stint behind bars as "tough" stating that he "took it in stride."

Woman dominate 2010 year in music to date!

Female Artists occupy the top spot of every major Billboard Chart this week as 2010 continues the trend of rising female stars started at the end of 2009. Upstart singer Ke$ha sees her debut album debut @#1 while her debut single "Tik Tok" notches another week @#1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The top 10 albums on the Billboard 200 are dominated by female acts with Justin Bieber putting forth the only album by a solo male artist in the top 10. The Black Eyed Peas (with Fergie) and the Soundtrack to "Alvin & The Chipmunks" are the other three albums not released buy solo female artist in the top 10 of the Billboard 200. Ke$ha, Susan Boyle, Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, and Mary J. Blige make up the top 5 albums in the country. Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift both have two albums in the top 10 with Taylor's debut notching its 52nd week, a full year, in the top 10.

Rihanna's "Rated R" sits closely by @ #11 as her single "Hard" finally enters the top 10 of the Hot 100, where 6 of the top 10 songs have input from female artists.

Alicia Keys hold's down the top spot on the Top R&B/ Hip-Hop albums chart while rising R&B sensation Melanie Fiona holds down the #1 spot on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Tallly with her hit "It Kills Me". Alicia also holds down the #1 spot @ radio with her duet with Jay-Z "Empire State of Mind." Reba McEntire has the top spot in Country Music on the Country chart, and Taylor Swift has the #1 song @ Adult Contemporary#1 album on the Country albums chart. Lady Gaga holds the #1 spot on the Pop Songs tally and Kelly Clarkson holds the #1 spot on the Adult Pop Songs tally. The Rap Songs and albums chart are both topped by Lil' Wayne's Young Money colllective which features female rap phenom Nicki Minaj. The ladies are definitely doing their thing so far this year.

Conan O' Brien has a "BF"

Conan O' Brien had a bitch fit amid reports that NBC is considering Moving Jay Leno back to late night televison. Since O'Brien took over, the ratings have slipped and led to a major bump in viewers for long-time late night rival David Letterman over at CBS. Leno's show has not been a ratings smash highlighting the fact that late night television is not designed for primetime. Only people staying up late at night would find Conan or Jay funny.

Leno has been criticised by many and made the butt of many jokes. Conan would be moved from 11:35 to 12:05 after Leno's thirty minute show is moved. In late night television, the later you are the less viewers you have. Your ratings may be steady but your viewers are probably sleeping through your show. To move Conan later would be a clear insult as the goal of that later night hosts is to get on as early as possible. The cream job in late night @NBC is The Tonight Show @11:35.

So Conan cried and said he would not do the show at that time. Many are saying that he is ready to walk if necessary and could collect a large sum of money. I wrote a short letter to Conan to cheer him up.

Dear Conan,

I think you and Jay both suck. However, you suck way more. Letterman is much better than both of you but more better than you than he is than Jay. That's why more people are watching him now instead of you as opposed to when more people were watching Jay (as lame as he is) than Letterman. In other words, when you took over the show started to suck even more and people stopped watching you and watching Letterman. They want to move your timeslot because you are not doing good. People only feel bad for you because Jay does suck too. You just suck more.

New Year's Resolutions are in full effect...Destiny's Child Member fires Beyonce's Dad!

Michelle Williams issued a statement stating that she new it was "time" to "move in a new direction" and fired Mathew Knowles, father of Beyonce Knowles, as her manager. Michelle becomes the fourth member of Destiny's Child to fire Mathew Knowles. Last January, Kelly Rowland issued another statement lauding their triumphs but moving on. The most famous firing came in 1999, when original members Letoya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson fired Knowles and were then replaced by two new members. Michelle made her debut dancing and lip-synching in the "Say My Name" video.

Just last month, the "Surviving" members of the group- Williams, Rowland, and Beyonce were sued for copyright infringement for their song "Cater 2 U." The case was filed out of court but not without bloggers typing up reports that Rowland was furious about having to pay as a result of Mathew Knowles shady business tactics and that he had opened up a can of worms. Maybe...Michelle felt the same way! If they thought he was bad for their careers as a manager...wait till they see how bad he is as a civillian...lol. Rumors are also circulating that Beyonce's father has been paying top radio stations in top markets to not play songs by former Destiny's Child member LeToya Luckett who has released her second solo album. Insiders say that Mathew has had a personal vendetta against her since she won a lawsuit against him.

He has also been recently named in a paternity suit and there are reports that his wife, Tina Knowles has filed for divorce. It's a good thing Beyonce doesn't read stuff on the internet.

Ex-Vice Presidential Candidiate and Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has joined Fox "News" as a commentator. Political pundits are saying that it may be a political move as many have considered Palin a contender for 2012 since her and John McCain were issued a crushing, landslide, historical defeat in 2008 by their democratic counterparts. Some feel that Palin may have a better chance at making a name for herself politically by becoming a subjournalist rather than holding a respectable public office such as Governor of a State. In a politically savvy move, Palin will now have direct via satellite access to her conservative, red-state, Fox News watching base all over America in the millions and not just the 15 people who live in Alaska. However, she was also have those who are fascinated by her strictly off of her sideshow antics such as appearing on Saturday Night Live dancing with a rapping mooose or reading William Shatner's autobiography on The Tonight Show. Palin is another product of our celebrity-obsessed society and with help from the Obamas have made a spectacle out of public office. People are fascinated by her just as we are of Tiffany Pollard from "I love New York". What the hell is going on?
